"Count the Wings" signing

Author Michelle Houts will be visiting blue manatee to discuss and sign her book, Count the Wings: The Life and Art of Charley Harper. 
Count the Wings is the first book for middle-grade readers about influential Cincinnati artist Charley Harper’s life and work. Author Michelle Houts worked closely with the Harper estate to include full-color illustrations, plentiful supplemental materials, and discussion questions that will intrigue and engage young readers.
Joining Michelle Houts at this event will be Brett Harper, an accomplish artist and son of Charley Harper. 

This event is open to the public. 
Copies of Count the Wings, and other fantastic titles by Michelle Houts, will be available for purchase and signing.

Our furry friends from Therapy Pets of Greater Cincinnati will be in the store for customers of all ages to read to and pet! This is a fantastic way for kids to practice their reading skills with a sweet, nonjudgmental listener!

For non-readers, one of our booksellers will share a few animal books so you can hang out with an animal and hear a great story. 

Free event, just sign up for a time slot to read to a dog when you get to the store!
