Brazee Street School of Glass comes to blue manatee! During this art class for children ages 3-6, we will read "Don't Blink" by Tom Booth, and create a piece of art to take home as well as a project using safe fused glass components to be picked up later!

Cost: $25 per child

Family Crafternoon

Thu. August 3rd @ 4pm

Drop in anytime between 4-5 to create a custom-decoupaged rock with local artist and art teacher, Anne Skove. A variety of materials will be on hand for children and adults to create together.

Our friends from songs for seeds will be playing favorite children's songs and other family-friendly tunes at this free event.

Excellent Elephant story time

August 12th is World Elephant Day, and we're celebrating with some of our favorite stories and an art project based on the classic elephant book, ELMER by David McKee!

Step up to the LePage stage to tell your favorite jokes for National Tell a Joke Day! We'll have a signup sheet at the event so everyone gets a turn to tell their joke, and members of the manaTeam will tell some of our favorites as well!
Jokes must be appropriate for all ages (They can't embarrass the grownups).

An evening with School of Good and Evil author Soman Chainani

Mon. October 2nd @ 6:30pm

New York Times bestselling author Soman Chainani will be at blue manatee for a reading and signing of Quests for Glory, the fourth installment of the School for Good and Evil series. 

Line numbers will be given to customers who pre-order or purchase their copy of Quests for Glory at blue manatee. Copies of the first three books in the series will be available in hardcover and paperback, as well as The Ever Never Handbook.
