If I Stay By Gayle Foreman

Mia is about to graduate from high school and she has some difficult decisions to make. Will she get accepted into Juilliard to study the cello or will she go to college closeby where she can be with her boyfriend? Things get more complicated when Mia and her family are in a serious car accident and Mia is forced to make the most finite decision she's ever had to make. Throughout the book, the reader will contemplate what they would choose if they were in Mia's position.
This book is highly recommended by Gail!

We're spastically jazzed about Paisley Hanover!

Paisley Hanover Acts Out, by Cameron Tuttle is a "fun of a kind" book for young adult readers. The main character (you guessed it, Paisley Hanover) is suddenly jolted from her role as one of the popular girls and put into the school's Drama class. She finds herself liking her "unpop" classmates, getting into some trouble here and there, and setting the social ladder of her school on its edge.
This is a hilarious book that makes you think about the pecking order of high school. Also included is her "NOTbook," filled with Paisley's doodles and opinions.

Highly recommended by Kelli and Gail, and available now, at blue manatee
